50 People from 12 Churches
St. Lukes UMC, Shreveport, LA hosted a dinner for leaders from 12 area churches to learn about how Men’s Ministry & Scouting Ministry can benefit the local church. The UMM Foundation presented data and information on the ministries supported by the Foundation and how these vital missions deliver tangible benefits to the local church and community.
These ministries not only support individuals but empower long lasting benefits to the families in the community. By equipping men and youth to become their very best they in turn impact those around them in very positive ways. Fathers are present and engaged in the family life with positive outcomes for all. Children do better in school and in self-esteem and behavior. Marriages thrive and health improves. Data even illustrates a better quality of life overall.
Attendees interacted asking questions and all came away informed and enthused. The Foundation is expanding ministry and inviting all to support the growing mission to reach more churches and support more men and youth!
