United Methodist Men Foundation Appoints Mark Lubbock as Executive Director
Veteran ministry leader brings decades of experience in men’s ministry and business leadership to new role
BATON ROUGE, LA – July 1, 2025 – The United Methodist Men Foundation is proud to announce the appointment of Mark Lubbock as its new Executive Director, effective July 1, 2025. A seasoned leader with a rich background in pastoral ministry, organizational leadership, and business, Lubbock is uniquely positioned to lead the foundation into its next chapter of growth and impact.
“Mark’s appointment marks a significant milestone for our foundation,” said Dan Ramsey, President of the United Methodist Men Foundation Board. “His deep-rooted commitment to men’s ministry, combined with his leadership at every level of United Methodist Men, makes him the ideal person to guide our mission forward.”
Lubbock, a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has been a dedicated servant leader within United Methodist Men (UMM) for over 25 years. He served as a Local Pastor in the Louisiana Annual Conference for 15 years before transitioning to full-time men’s ministry. From 2011 to 2025, he served as deployed staff with the General Commission on United Methodist Men, gaining valuable insight into national ministry operations and strategy.
His volunteer leadership has been equally extensive, having served as UMM President at the local, district, and conference levels, as well as Jurisdictional Vice President and Vice President of the UMM National Association of Conference Presidents.
Before entering ministry, Lubbock founded and led LA Data Systems, a successful computer networking company. His entrepreneurial background brings a strategic and results-driven perspective to the foundation’s work.
“I am honored and humbled to step into this role at such a pivotal time in our church’s journey,” said Lubbock. “Men’s ministry has been my life’s calling, and I look forward to working with our board, donors, and partners to help men grow in faith, discover their purpose in Christ, and make a lasting impact in their communities.”
The United Methodist Men Foundation supports spiritual growth and leadership development for men across The United Methodist Church through grants, scholarships, and ministry resources. Under Lubbock’s leadership, the foundation aims to expand its reach and deepen its support for local, conference, and jurisdictional men’s ministry programs.
