South Carolina Youth Ministries
The UMMF Foundation provides support through grants for Scouting and Youth Ministries through the General Commission on United Methodist Men. The South Carolina UMC Annual Conference highlighted the many ways that Youth are being connected to useful resources that deliver life skills founded in moral values. These ministries and activities are proven effective means to lead and equip Youth to live into productive lives. To learn more about this ministry click HERE.
A core part of the UMMF mission is to foster expansion of such efforts to reach into the communities and neighborhoods laying the foundation for a true “Future and Hope”. (Jeremiah 29:11)
The fields are ripe for harvest. The number of households with a single parent are growing daily. Single parents often struggle to make ends meet let alone leaving little time to focus on equipping their children with the tools and adult support necessary for the best outcomes.
