THOUGHTS ABOUT MINSTRY WITH MEN

Why men? This question occasionally arises when the topic of Ministry with Men is broached. Perhaps a better question would be: “Why NOT Men”? Our belief is that everyone benefits from a deeper walk with Jesus as a disciple and believe men are in need just the same as women and children.

The UMM Foundation exists to support ongoing ministry with men and Scouting and do so alongside the Women of Faith and other singularly focused ministries. Rather than excluding, this is indeed a means to ensure inclusion for all!

The programs supported by the UMM Foundation do in fact benefit men, women and children. Take the Hunger programs for example. The UMM Foundation encourages and partners with UMM who in turn are affiliated with Society of St. Andrew and End Hunger Now. The UMM engage in a wide variety of activities that fund and share much needed healthy food through these organizations.
